Are you interested in helping people become home owners? Do you need the resources to reach potential first time homebuyers? The Community Lending arena is one of the largest un-tapped markets by the mortgage lending industry.
Our Reach the Client First workshop will provide the motivated loan officer with all the tools necessary to initiate and develop a steady first time homebuyer market.
First you need to know your community lending client. We’ll show you how to develop this market and how to provide guidance through each step of the loan process.
You also need a thorough knowledge of the products that are available to them. We’ll take you through all the various 'community lending' and 'A minus' products offered by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, including state specific programs, FHA, VA, private investor and second mortgages. We'll present the pros and cons of each program, comparing the features and benefits to make it easier to custom fit a program to your client.
Most importantly, you need to educate your client. We will teach you how to work with non-profit agencies and conduct your own homeownership education seminars. We’ll show you when, where and how to market and present successful group seminars on topics like credit, gift and grant programs, purchasing a home and home inspection services. We’ll also help you prepare effective one-on-one sessions for future home owners on setting goals, savings plans, credit development and improvement.
A quality presentation is the key to building a pipeline of future buyers, whether you pursue one-on-one sessions, group seminars or tapping into existing consumer training programs. We’ll present you with some terrific marketing ideas that just may surprise you!
Proactively seeking out first time homebuyers is a great way to grow your business in a changing market.
